A Journey of Identity and Purpose
Hello and welcome to my corner of the web! I'm Helen Pfalzer, a passionate social justice professional dedicated to making a difference through strategic communication and social entrepreneurship. Originally from the vibrant streets of D.C., I've recently embarked on a new adventure in sunny San Diego working for the North County LGBTQ Resource Center as a MAT Case Manager focused on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals who have substance use disorders.

As a Black, LGBTQ woman who's a product of transracial adoption, my journey has been one of exploration and discovery, shaping both my identity and my outlook on life. This unique experience has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity, empathy, and the power of community.

Purposed: Illuminating Change, One Candle at a Time: In addition to my personal journey, I'm also the proud founder of Purposed, an eco-friendly soy wax candle company rooted in the principles of social entrepreneurship. Our candles not only illuminate spaces but also contribute to environmental sustainability and support social causes close to my heart.

Skills and Expertise: With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Digital Marketing from Old Dominion University, I bring a diverse skill set to the table, including proficiency in digital marketing techniques, strategic planning, and content creation. My ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies, foster inclusive environments, and deliver tangible results has been honed through both academic endeavors and practical experiences.
